Payment methods we offer
Boden accepts the payment methods below:
- Most major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express
- Apple Pay
- PayPal (unavailable for pre-order items)
All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Whether you choose to pay by credit, debit card or Apple Pay, we only take payment when your items have been despatched. Only items that are available are charged so, if you buy a pre-order item(s), we won’t charge you for it until it leaves our warehouse.
If you choose to pay by Clearpay or PayPal, your payment information will be available in your associated Clearpay or PayPal account.
Please note that Clearpay & PayPal are not available on orders containing pre-order items.
Paying with Apple Pay and account credit
Paying with Apple Pay and account credit
To combine express payment methods with account credits, you must first log in to your account. Navigate to the "Payment" step in the checkout process and select the "Account Credit" checkbox. After applying the credit, you can return to the "Information" step and choose Apple Pay to complete your purchase. This process allows both payment methods to be used together.
How do I pay using Clearpay or PayPal?
How do I pay using Clearpay or PayPal?
- Login to your Boden account (recommended) and, once you have reached the checkout, select PayPal as your preferred payment option (unavailable for pre-order items).
- You will be directed to login to your PayPal account, where you can follow the on-screen instructions, before being returned to the Boden checkout to complete your order.
- If you use our guest checkout option instead of logging in to your Boden account, you will not be able to see your order in your online account order history.
- Please log into your PayPal account for information regarding your payment.

You can apply the 4 digit code in the "Promotion code" box - this can be found on the 'My Bag' webpage, under your shopping list.

Just a note to say that Sale and Clearance items are excluded from offers, as well as other selected items (visit boden.com/exclusions).
Will I lose my offer if return an item?

Your offer will still apply, unless all of your items are returned, or you no longer qualify for the promotion (as outlined in the offer’s terms and conditions).
This is the same for gift cards* – if all items are returned, or your gift voucher is due to be refunded to you, this will be applied as Boden account credit (click here for more details on how to use account credit).
*If you used a promotional voucher, and all items are returned, this will be deducted from your refund.
